Headway for Medway is a social and information support service for people who have suffered a brain injury. They meet every Wednesday 10.00am to 2.00pm, at the The Sunlight Centre Richmond Road Gillingham ME7 1LX.
Headway’s Gillingham drop-in centre for Medway is a friendly social group for people affected by an acquired brain injury. The group offer advice and support, a place for a cuppa and a chat, and activities and exercises based on the interest of group members.

ABOUT HEADWAY
Headway South East London and North West Kent is a charitable organisation providing support and services to individuals, family members and carers affected by an acquired brain injury across Bexley, Greenwich, Lewisham, Lambeth, Southwark, Bromley, Dartford, Gravesend and Medway. Headway SELNWK operates a person centred service that understands the complexities and problems that may arise after injury particularly with emotions, cognition, memory, communication and behaviour.
Their community support programme provides choice and preference for service users between one to one support in the home environment in addition to or as an alternative to being part of a social rehabilitation centre in the Headway SELNWK region. The organisation also offers early intervention and social rehabilitation.
