THE MAD HATTER’S COLOURFUL CROCKERY: EXPLORE ALICE’S ADVENTURES WITH CREATIVE PRACTITIONER, NATASHA STEER FROM CREATABOT

10AM – 1PM

PRICE: £4.00 PLUS BOOKING FEE

 

Natasha Steer, of Creatabot Creative Workshops, will lead you in a 1.5 hour professional community workshop which has a focus on bespoke creative arts and crafts.

Join Natasha to paint teacups and saucers that are fit for any Mad Hatters Tea party, decorated with your favourite characters, themes, symbols and colours from the book. Take your pieces of artwork home to bake in your oven and use your keepsake crockery again and again.

Ages: All ages welcome
Access: This workshop is accessible and will have a BSL interpreter present.

 

WONDERFUL WONDERLAND FACES BY LIKE A MAGPIE FACE PAINTING

11.15 AM – 1.15PM

Allow Like A Magpie Face Painting to transform you into the one of the characters of your choice from Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland in a matter of minutes, using safe, non-toxic, hypo-allergenic face paint that can be washed off easily with water.

Price: £2.00 per face. Cash payment only.

ALICE IN WONDERLAND BY LET’S ALL DANCE.

A FAMILY FRIENDLY ALICE BALLET PLUS PHOTO OPPORTUNITY.

PRICE: £8.00 PLUS BOOKING FEE. TICKET INCLUDES ONE CAKE AND DRINK AT THE TEA PARTY.

A fantastical new ballet for the whole family!

Let’s All Dance makes three guest appearances in North Kent Libraries during March 2019 with this fabulous family favourite. Stunning dancing, much loved characters and super costumes bring the famous tale to life in this magical ballet production.

Come and join Alice as she enters the curiouser and curiouser world of the White Rabbit, Queen of Hearts and Mad Hatter.

Take part in a photo opportunity with dancers after the show. Optional post show ballet classes are available to purchase.

Ages: Suitable for ages 2-11 years, families, and children with additional needs. Children under 18 months do not require a ticket.

Running time: 40 mins

Access: This show is accessible and will have a BSL interpreter present.

 

A POST SHOW BALLET MOVEMENT WORKSHOP BY LET’S ALL DANCE

2.40 – 3PM

PRICE: £2.00 PLUS BOOKING FEE

 

Dance with the White Rabbit, the Queen of Hearts and Alice. Come along to this movement workshop and learn a few ballet steps with the dancers from Alice in Wonderland.

Suitable for ages 2-11 years.

 

THE MAD HATTERS TEA PARTY: A LIFE SIZED INSTALLATION AND COMMUNITY PARTY WITH CAKE AND TEA.

3 – 4PM

PRICE: FREE ENTRY. CAKES AND DRINKS PRICED AT 50P

 

After the ballet, join us at The Mad Hatters Tea Party at Faversham Library on the 30th March 2019.

Witness the finale Mad Hatters table installation reveal, by Kent based scenographer Jasmine Haskell, Wendy Daws, Natasha Steer and Strangeface Theatre Company, alongside an interactive community Mad Hatters Tea party.

 

Meet life sized character installations from Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland: The White Rabbit, The March Hare, The Cheshire Cat and The Dormouse. Surround yourself with the Alice items made during the community workshops, place on a Tweedle Dee, Tweedle Dum or Queen of Hearts mask and take a picture of yourself seated at the table. Alice themed refreshments will also be available to purchase.

 

Ages: All ages welcome. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
