About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to help shape bold, joyful Black lyrical theatre and creative opportunities across Medway and beyond. As Senior Creative Producer, you’ll work closely with Lyrici Arts’ Co-Directors to help turn our artistic ambitions into brilliant, well-planned activity. You’ll play a leading role across our artist development, public programme, community engagement and creative place-making work, connecting artists, communities and audiences with opportunities to create, participate in and experience our work.

A particular focus will be developing exciting, accessible and affordable Black lyrical theatre experiences across Medway, from workshops, classes and short creative courses to artist-led activity, public sharings and performances.

You’ll also help produce and deliver Lyrici Arts’ touring productions and premieres, working alongside the Co-Directors and creative teams from development through to delivery. The Co-Directors will retain overall artistic leadership of Lyrici Arts’ main productions and touring work.

We’re looking for someone who can bring together creative thinking and strong producing skills, build positive relationships with artists and partners, and help us create ambitious, welcoming and culturally relevant experiences for Medway communities and creatives.
